In his recent interview with his lawyer Isat Buchanan, Vybz Kartel revealed many details that were unknown to the public and his loving fans.
Vybz Kartel in an interview with Isat Buchanan revealing some shocking news about the stages of his trial and road to freedom. In the interview it is clear that he felt hurt for how the Jamaican Justice system handled his case. During the interview Vyzb Kartel was asked if he plans to sue the Jamaican Government for mishandling his case and having him spending over $100 Million dollars in fighting for his freedom.
Kartel did not give a direct answer, however he went on to elaborate on how much it had cost him to take the matter over to the Privy council and also the last let leading up to his release.
He revealed that the last leg of his case leading up to him being released, cost him approximately $14 million JMD and also elaborated that his privi council leg of the trial cost him a staggering 600,000 pounds, which is equivalent to over $100 Million JMD.
The discussion also led to the question of other prisoners remaining behind bars because they cant afford the high lawyer fees that comes with fighting for freedom, Kartel said he believe so, because during his time spent he was transferred to a few other prisons and it was evident.
He was also asked about his health and how he plans to cope. His response was that, it is what it is and went on to say that his health is his number one priority followed by his family.
