As you all may know, former President Obama has made it a tradition to give the world an update on a list of his favorite songs every year.
Obama has released his annual music playlist for this summer and guess who made the cut? Jamaican musicians like Bob Marley and young dancehall start Skillibeng is among the list of favorites for the United States former president.
The tracks by the Jamaican talents include Bob Marley and The Wailers’ Them Belly Full released back in 1974 and Tyla ft Gunna and Skillibeng Jump, released in this year 2024.
“With summer winding down, I wanted to share some songs that I’ve been listening to lately – and it wouldn’t be my playlist if it didn’t include an eclectic mix. I hope you find something new to listen to!” Obama captioned the post on IG.
Obama has also revealed that his daughters Sasha and Malia are always keeping up to date when some new songs as he often times linger in the 80’s music.
“I get referrals from my daughters — which keeps me not stuck in the ’80s,” he said. “I’ve got some newer stuff, some older stuff. I tend to mix it up,” he added.
