Fast rising visually impaired Dancehall artist Nigy Boy is set to make his first Reggae Sumfest debut at Catherine Hall July 2024.
This comes after a recent meeting in New York between the Dark shades artist and festival organizer Joe Bogdanovich, who expressed belief in Nigy Boy’s potential.
“I know he’s going to do great at our show, and Nigy Boy is truly another universe,” Bogdanovich said at the welcome home event for the artist at Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, St James.” he said
The singer, whose real name is Nigel Hector was greatful, for the endorsement and expressing confidence in his ability to meet expectations.
“Thank you so much for your endorsement; you saw the talent, and you’re taking a leap of faith to push it, and I will not disappoint,” said Nigy Boy
Nigy Boy gained significant attention last month with his hit track Continent on Rvssian’s Dutty Money riddim. The song has picked up 5.7 million views on YouTube.
